That was a project to build a new educational platform within Amazon, the back end was ruby on rails, the front end is React and Material-UI within webpack for rails, my responsibilities included, wire-framing, basic design, building the front facing layout with react, creating RESTFUL routes, working with the back end team on the controllers..etc.

HERE Technologies, Seattle - Front End Development [Aug 2018 - Oct 2018]

This was a short contract, I was part of the front end team, my job was meanly fixing bugs, building small features, writing automation tests and upgrading some code to ES6+, our stack was AngularJS and Angular 6.

Provide various services to startups and entrepreneurs, including building MVP's, developing web applications and Dapps on the Ethereum network and connecting their apps to cloud services like AWS and Google Cloud.

Projects

SendMeCoin a Startup Weekend Blockchain Edition project [May 2018]

Within 54 hours we built a decentralized global registry on the Ethereum network for unique ID's that users can pick and later use to send and receive cryptos, our team competed with another 13 teams during the weekend and we won the 2nd place.

Sauté-Seattle [Nov 2017]

Worked on this project as one of five team members, in five days we built this full-stack project using Ruby on Rails, google maps API, with 100% test coverage, we hosted the project on heroku.com and AWS used to host project media.

Inventory Management System [Oct 2017]

Worked on this project with four team members, in four days we built this app using Ruby on Rails, with 100% test coverage, the project is hosted on heroku.com.

SATORP Package 6: Refinery Tank Farm [Jul 2009 - Nov 2012]

Was part of the project supervision team, partly responsible for the overall project plan, financial & procurement management and reporting progress to c-level executives.

Education

Dev Bootcamp, Seattle - Web Development Student [Apr 2017 - Nov 2017]

Over 24 weeks, 1000+ hours of an intensive and immersive program to learn full stack web development skills. An average of 85 hours per week was dedicated to building and studying the many concepts of computer science such as algorithms, data structures, Object-Oriented Design, MVC patterns, Agile Development and Test/Behavior Driven Development.
